After 10 years in commercial radio in the UK, Clare joined BFBS Radio in 2005.  Her first overseas detachment was to the Falklands.

Clare was based at BFBS Radio in Herford, Germany, from October 2006 to July 2007 before being whisked away to the British Army Training Unit in Alberta, Canada.

The last 24 months on the prairies of Canada have been a pretty unique experience.  Clare has learnt some useful sausage-making skills, taken lots and lots of photos of snow and is now a dab hand at calf roping! There's even a video of her "performing" at the Ralston Rodeo on youtube!

Away from the studio, Clare is a keen photographer and crafter and writes a monthly column for her local magazine in the UK.
