Damian is the keeper of the seven keys to the Rock Temple on BFBS Radio (every Thursday night from 10pm UK time), a founding member of the It Bites Appreciation Society ("who isn't?") and reads the Lord of the Rings annually.  He even hopes to finish it one day.

He's been with BFBS Radio since rock music was popular the first time around, has been posted everywhere from Iraq to Brunei, Hong Kong to the Falklands and Germany and these days does something "involving a desk" at BFBS UK's DAB headquarters.  We understand this to mean "management" rather than stationery, but nobody really knows.

He often gets lost backstage on the way to the studio, insists on everything being "turned up to eleven" and lives in a cocoon that only opens after his show is almost over.
