Ian has been part of BFBS Radio for longer than he cares to remember, joining in the Summer of 1999 after a career in Commercial Radio in the Home Counties.  Since then he's worked for BFBS in the Falklands, Bosnia, Gibraltar, Northern Ireland, BFBS UK, and is currently on his second stint in Cyprus.  He's also one of the 'Specialists', presenting The Vault on BFBS Radio, our weekly archive music programme showcasing long lost gems and a music mix as eclectic as you'll find anywhere on the radio.

He's been following the fortunes of Chelsea FC since 1975 as an 8 year old and even found himself on the payroll of the club back in the 90s.  He's now passing on this passion to his son, Bobby.  The poor boy had no choice in the matter, of course.
