Rory has served around the Forces world with BFBS Radio on stations in Germany, Cyprus, the Falkland Islands and the UK.  He was the last Programme Director for BFBS in Hong Kong and the last voice heard on the station on the 30th June 1997 as the colony was handed over to China.

He was an embedded war correspondent during the 2003 Iraq conflict and has reported from the country many times since.  He has been on regular assignment to Afghanistan before heading to BFBS Radio at BATUS in Canada.
