Simon Marlow
Simon's career in radio began in the commercial sector before he joined BFBS Radio in 2002.
He's presented and produced shows on stations from Radio City in Liverpool to the Classic Gold network. In fact, he'll work anywhere he's allowed to indulge his passion for Genesis, Paul Carrack and boats. Well, two out of three ain't bad.
Simon's new show on BFBS Radio 2 focuses on stories of interest to the British Forces community overseas. "I think it's important to keep people based overseas in touch with news and stories from the UK, not to mention around the Forces' world," says Simon. "But I'm also really keen to entertain people, make them laugh and play them the very best music I can from across the decades."
With this in mind, the last hour of Simon's show, from 1200 UKT, will be the Gold Hour, with more music from the sixties to the nineties.
